If your little ones want to blow off some steam, the Brockholes Nature Reserve should be on your list. This is one of the top free things to do in Lancashire for kids, offering your little monkeys plenty of opportunities for imaginative play in the wild landscape.
Brockholes Nature Reserve is made up of 250 acres of land and is teeming with wildlife, and tasty food is served at the on-site Kestrel Kitchen.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach is the stuff of legends. It has been around for 125 years now, holding testimony to it being a top tier day out in the county (and not just for the kids, either!).
Fun is the only aim here and, at Blackpool Pleasure Beach there is a variety of rides and attractions, including Icon and The Big Dipper.
Younger children will love Nickelodeon Land, where they can enjoy 12 rides and see some popular Nickelodeon characters.
If you’re looking for indoor activities for kids in Lancashire, Planet Ice could be an option for you. It’s an ice skating rink and is great for little ones and beginners.

Here, you can get up close and personal with alpacas, chickens, donkeys, ducks, and deer.
There are lots of activities and events at Farmers Parrs throughout the year. The Fylde Countrylife Museum is also on-site.
