The Backstory

The Treehouse isn’t just a national celebrity because it’s brilliant (although it is brilliant). This luxurious lakeside lodge was actually featured on the much-loved UK television programme, My Flatpack Home with Amanda Lamb. What’s Outside

When you first approach the Treehouse, you’ll be greeted by its spectacular exterior. Outside, you’ll have everything you need for a relaxed break. There’s a private harbour with your very own boat, a sunset deck with breath taking, panoramic views of the lake and river, and a brick barbecue.

To get to the glass front doors, use the elegant hand-built rope bridge.

What’s Inside

When you step inside, you’ll see the striking solid oak flooring, £40,000 Miele kitchen, and comfortable, hand-picked furniture. The roll top freestanding bath is a firm favourite for guests.

There’s a handmade Hypnos top model bed – which is said to be one of the most comfy beds in existence – and plenty of games and DVDs, and a Nintendo Wii to keep you entertained.

With so many windows, natural light flows easily throughout the Treehouse.

The Small Print

A stay at the Treehouse is currently £249.00 per night for 2 guests and £269.00 per night for 4 guests (+ £10.00 for school holidays, + £10.00 per night for March/April/May/June/September, + £30.00 per night for July/August).

Throughout the year, the minimum length of stay is 2 nights. But that goes up to 3 nights in the school holidays and 4 nights in July and August.

Dogs can’t stay at the Treehouse at the moment, but it’s child friendly and you can call in advance to ask for a cot and a high chair to be added before you arrive, completely free of charge.
