During your stay at Cleveleymere, you’ll have access to a wide range of exciting activities and games right on your holiday lodge’s doorstep.
We get a lot of questions about the things to do we have available on-site, so today we’ll be clearing that up by telling you all about them.
The Boats
Lake Cleveleymere is big – bigger than it looks in photos. At an eyebrow-raising 24 acres, it would be a shame if you didn’t make the most of the open water when you’re with us.
All guests staying at Cleveleymere enjoy complimentary access to rowing boats, kayaks and pedalos, giving everyone the opportunity to get out on the lake and explore at their own pace.
Most of our lodges come with their own, private rowing boats and their own harbours or piers, so you can step straight from your deck onto the water whenever you like. They are:
The Lawn Games
Show us a person who says they don’t like lawn games and we’ll show you a liar! We’re all big kids at heart.
At the front of our site, you’ll find giant chess, skittles, French bowls, and crazy golf. These games are much-loved by our guests, especially the little ones.
The Fire Pits
We have fire pits dotted around our 34-acre woodland site and you’re free to use them. If you choose Lakeside Tree House as your holiday lodge, you’ll even have access to your own private fire pit.
When you arrive, we’ll give you your own fire pit kit so that you can easily get a fire going, as well as marshmallows for toasting.
The Barbecues
When you live in the UK, it’s perfectly acceptable to have a BBQ all year round. In fact, we think us Brits have mastered the art of barbecuing, even in the rain. Each Cleveleymere holiday lodge has its own private BBQ for you to enjoy!
Inside Your Lodge
We love it when our guests enjoy our outdoor activities, but the fun doesn’t stop when you get inside your lodge. In fact, all of our 8 Lancashire holiday lodges are jam-packed with things to do.
All of our lodges have games, books, a TV and DVD player, DVDs, a Nintendo Wii with games, and WiFi. You can also borrow a pair of wellies from our stash, but we understand if you want to bring your own.
The Boat House is our holiday lodge with a hot tub, so if you chose this one, you’ll have private access to a hot tub that you can use come rain or shine and day or night throughout your stay.
