The carp and other fish are not used to heavy angling pressure, so fishing here can be rewarding but challenging. We would rather be clear before you book: this is best suited to patient anglers who enjoy figuring out a natural water.
What to expect
Private fishing is included for lodge-staying guests, but catches are never guaranteed. The lake has carp, roach, bream, perch, tench, chub and other silverfish, with natural features, weed, wildlife and changing conditions all part of the challenge.
