Beautiful place. So peaceful and Badgers Lodge was wonderful- right on lake with our own dock and boat! Would have been perfection if there were child gates on steps - this is not a criticism at all just a personal thing as we had two toddlers with us. Highly recommended. Children loved clapping their hands and seeing all the ducks and swans flying over to be fed!

What a fantastic place. The lodge is far better than the photographs can tell. People of the staff do their best to make you feel comfortable. It is the perfect housing if, like in our case, you have some business in Lancaster and a lot of time to spend in exploring the beautiful surroundings.

2nd visit to this wonderful retreat we loved the Herrons lodge, the relaxing atmosphere,and the staff what a great place to stay,we came this time for my birthday and enjoyed our three night stay even when our 30yr old daughter decided to pay us a visit we cant wait to book again
