The Lakeside Fin’s log cabin is a top-tier holiday lodge for a family holiday (or even groups of friends). Big and beautiful, it’s our largest lodge with lots of room for indoor activities and for everyone to have their own space.
In Fin’s, you’ll find 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, and a bedroom with bunk beds. That means that it sleeps up to 7 people – the most common booking we get is 4 adults and 3 children, but you can choose who sleeps where. There are 2 bathrooms, 1 with a bath and 1 with a shower, and a spacious kitchen with all the equipment and utensils you’ll need for your entire stay.
Plus, Fin’s Log Cabin is dog-friendly! We know that dogs are family as well, so you’re welcome to bring them along. They’ll have the best W-A-L-Ks on-site and in our surrounding towns and villages.
With a striking wooden interior, this holiday lodge’s quirky décor gives it a rustic and cosy feel, making it an endlessly homely place to stay.
Inside, you’ll find an abundance of entertainment options. Fin’s has its own private boat for you to use on the lake, a DVD player with loads of DVDs, an iPod dock, games (including croquet), books, its very own private BBQ, and even a picnic basket that you can use for a lunch out on our picture-perfect 34-acre woodland grounds.

“We stayed here as 2 adults, 2 children, and a dog for 3 nights at the beginning of January. Fin’s Lodge was gorgeous, spacious, quirky, homely, and…perfect.
“We barely left the site as we loved walking round the lake to the den. Marshmallows at dusk and a pedalo ride were a highlight. The hosts are sooo lovely and very knowledgeable about the area. Gave us great recommendations for a dog-friendly pub and café nearby.
