Lakeside Hunstman’s Harbour
Lakeside Huntsman’s Harbour is our #1 holiday lodge for a romantic getaway. Its charming rustic décor gives it a cozy vibe, perfect for relaxing in our serene setting. This home away from home has its own balcony and sunset deck for looking out onto the lake.
This is a dog-friendly holiday lodge.

The Boat House
The Boat House is a stellar choice for couples. This holiday lodge sleeps up to 3 people (that’s 2 adults in the double room and 1 child in the single room in the mezzanine area).
There’s a decked sitting area with a private barbecue, too, giving you southwest views over the lake and lots of sunshine. This is an awesome lodge for couples because it has its very own private hot tub!

Lakeside Lighthouse Harbour
Lakeside Lighthouse Harbour is a truly luxurious holiday lodge.
This is our most lavish lodge, perfect for when you’re feeling bougie. At the Lighthouse, you’ll have access to your very own balcony, private boat, private pier, and 3 large sun decks.
The lounge patio doors open over the water, giving you the most spectacular southwest, panoramic views over the lake.
It sleeps up to 4 people with a double room and a twin room with bunk beds, but you don’t have to use all of that space when it’s just the two of you!
This is not a dog-friendly holiday lodge.

Activities For Couples in Lancashire
Alpaca Walking
The Alpaca Experience at Ivy Dene Farm is just a 10-minute drive away from Cleveleymere.
Each alpaca walk is unique. Not only do you get to walk the alpacas, but you also get to spend some quality time with them, too! As a rule of thumb, you can expect to begin by rounding up the alpacas and taking them into the holding area (and maybe even some hand-feeding!). Then, you’ll be taught to halter, lead, and communicate with the alpacas before your walk.
Judy, who runs The Alpaca Experience, doesn’t charge a fixed rate for alpaca walking. Instead, she asks for pay-what-you-think donations which are used for the maintenance of all the lovely animals that call Ivy Dene Farm home.
Wine Tasting
Chapel Street Wines in Lancaster city centre (not far from Cleveleymere in a taxi!) hosts wine tasting evenings in-store.
These tasting evenings are themed and happen twice every month. Groups of at least 6 need to book, so this could be a fun option for a triple date with friends if you’re staying with us as a group!
If you’re into your wine, this is a good store to visit whether you’re attending a tasting or not. Chapel Street Wines is known for stocking unusual/hard-to-find wines, great for those who are bored of the usual supermarket shelf fare.
Spa Days
The Woodland Spa in Burnley offers spa days that would be a super relaxing treat for couples.
This spa gives you a ‘thermal experience’ with a whole host of amenities for you to use, including:

Cleveleymere Lakeside Lodges is a stunning holiday destination in Lancashire. Our holiday accommodation is made up of 8 luxury lodges (one is a lodge with a hot tub!) that sleep between 2 and 7 people.
Our woodland site is a whopping 34 acres! And in the middle is the glorious 24-acre Lake Cleveleymere.
We’re based in Scorton, the heart of the Lancashire countryside, which means you’ll be close to the wonderful activities, restaurants, and scenes that the Red Rose County has to offer.
